Sometimes in coaching, as in many things in life, seeing the negatives in a situation come a lot easier than seeing the positives. Use these 24 ways to say well done to keep your player's spirits up and to be sure they know you are cognizant of their efforts:
- You’re on the right track.
- You’re really working hard today.
- Exactly right.
- I’m proud of the effort level today.
- Keep working it. That’s the kind of improvement I want to see.
- Keep it up – you’re making my job enjoyable.
- One more time and you’ll have it right.
- You’re getting better every day.
- Keep up the good work.
- Nothing can stop you when you bring that kind of intensity.
- That’s better than the last time.
- First class effort (guys or ladies). Keep it up.
- That’s the best I’ve seen today.
- Much better than yesterday.
- That’s how we handle that situation.
- Right on target!
- You’re really improving.
- You did a lot of great work today. I’m proud of the effort.
- I’ve never seen better execution of X drill.
- You all outdid yourselves today.
- Finally, I think you all got it.
- Good job (insert player name).
- Finish strong.
- Championship level effort.
