If your slapper is getting attacked on the inside, your best bet is to neutralize the pitch with a bunt. That’s because the first baseman and pitcher are typically less athletic than the third baseman, which gives your slapper a better chance of getting on base. To successfully execute the bunt, slappers should follow these three steps:
- Position the hands out in front to help with ball placement.
- Bend the right arm to get the hands in front of the belly button.
- Contact the ball in front of the body and go for it!
