Purpose: To develop pitching form while incorporating conditioning.
How it works: A pitcher sets up about 10 feet away from a pitching net. The pitcher throws nine balls in quick succession into the net, maintaining a tight core and driving through the front hip. After each pitch, the pitcher must quickly back up to the mound and pitch the next ball as quickly as possible.
Variations: This drill can be done off the mound to a catcher once the players have grasped the drill.
Requirements: At least one player, a pitching net, softballs, and 10 feet of space
