Christen Thompson, head coach at Menlo College, talks about what differentiates from NAIA and NCAA schools.
The NCAA is a separate network of colleges that are broken into divisions (Division I, II and III). The NAIA is not broken up into divisions and while its competition level is still of a high caliber, there are fewer rules regulating NAIA competition. NAIA coaches generally wait until recruits are juniors or seniors to begin the recruiting process.
