Purpose: To prevent the hitter's elbow from lifting during the swing, which causes them to drop the barrel of the bat and swing under the ball.
How it works: Have the hitter place the resistance band above the elbow on both arms so that it's stretched between the arms. Starting in a hitting stance, the hitter performs swings off the tee. They should feel resistance from the band on their front elbow, preventing any lift. Have the hitter use the band for as long as needed until their elbow no longer lifts when swinging.
Requirements: At least one player, a tee, a resistance band, softballs and a field
